The ARASIA Board of Representatives Regional Meeting

The ARASIA Board of Representatives Regional Meeting, held in Vienna, brings together representatives from Member States and the International Atomic Energy Agency to discuss regional priorities and ongoing cooperation under the Technical Cooperation Programme.

Following yesterday’s opening session by Dr. Bilal Nsouli, Chairman of ARASIA, and Mr. Hua Liu, Deputy Director General and Head of the Department of Technical Cooperation at the IAEA, discussions today focused on: • Progress of the ongoing ARASIA TC Programme (2026–2027)

• Review of achievements under regional projects

• Future project concepts for the 2028–2029 TC cycle

• Updates on ARASIA strategic initiatives, including , resource centres, and partnerships

The meeting reflects ARASIA’s continued commitment to strengthening regional cooperation, capacity building, and sustainable development across Member States.
